FWA Invited to Testify before
House of Representatives
Lee Killinger of the FWA was invited to make a presentation before the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee on February 20, 2013 as part of a workshop relating to water supply development in Florida. FWA presentation was widely complimented for highlighting the limited contribution of the State to water infrastructure funding as compared to other growth sectors. The committee meeting was attended by dozens of utility and private sector representatives, including many FWA members and resulted in an invitation for a continuing dialogue regarding these issues.
